On March 7th, the community is coming together for an unforgettable Access Braille Fundraiser, where music, laughter, friendly competition, and purpose take center stage. This is not just an event—it’s a celebration of inclusion, access, and opportunity.

Why Access Braille Matters—Now More Than Ever

Access Braille is dedicated to empowering visually impaired and blind students worldwide by ensuring they have equal access to education through assistive technology and Braille literacy programs. Their work directly addresses a critical and growing gap:

• Nearly 60% of teachers serving visually impaired students lack access to necessary teaching technology

• Only 40% of students who could benefit from assistive technology actually receive it

• Recent federal funding cuts have resulted in the cost burden of $350 per student per month

The consequence is not just slower learning—it’s diminished independence, reduced job prospects, and fewer opportunities in an increasingly digital world. Access Braille exists to change that reality.

To date, the organization has supported over 25,000 visually impaired individuals, partnering with respected institutions such as Vista Center, Sankara Nethralaya, Mission Saksham, and more.
