Just because Cupertino is an area that plays a significant role in the tech industry, they're not all work, no play. Memorial Park hosts a number of festivals and events, such as the Cherry Blossom Festival in late April/early May and the annual Diwali Mela — Festival of Lights in October.
The Blackberry Farm, open all year round, offers a popular recreational pool, as well as a highly-rated golf course. Many residents enjoy a good hike in one of many of Rancho's San Antonio Natural Reserve trails, and the ball fields, picnic tables, and playground at Jollyman Park are great for families.
